The 24th installment of the Bond franchise has finally arrived, and it has brought with it some insanely awesome toys this time around!
The toys you will see flying across the bigscreen include the Jaguar C-X75s, Range Rover Sport SVRs and Defender “Bigfoot” which have been all been provided by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations team.
The video below gives us a sneak peak at the Austrian chase scene through the snow-covered mountains, featuring the Defender and Range Rover Sport SVR. The highly capable Defenders were constructed with enormous 37-inch diameter off-road tires to tackle the extreme terrain. They also feature bespoke suspension and enhanced body protection.
Land Rover worked closely with the studio to provide vehicles that not only looked the part, but could handle the tough terrain while being pushed to the limits .The Jaguar C-X75 was also involved in a chase scene, but this time through the streets of Rome at night. The C-X75 needed to have perfect handling and driving dynamics to fit what the studio was asking for. They modified the vehicle to create the car shown in the movie, and after going through roughly 30 sets of tires during testing, it was ready to film.
The Range Rover Sport SVR is the only vehicle in the film you can actually buy for yourself, and Land Rover Dallas in the heart of Dallas, Texas is here to help you with that purchase, should you feel the urge to explore your newly founded espionage skills.

Considering that a few of the other luxury automobile brands out there are stepping up their game as far as luxury SUVs are concerned, Land Rover has decided to follow suit so that it might regain its role as the leading SUV manufacturer.
With Bentley hitting the market with the new Bentayga, Rolls-Royce prepping the release of its Cullinan, and even Mercedes-Maybach having a stake in the game, Land Rover isn’t about to leave the top end of the market to its rivals.
Land Rover certainly has a reputation to keep, especially as the nameplate prides itself for the development of the luxury segment. John Edwards, Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations managing director, revealed that the British car manufacturer is capable of “stretching” the model even further on the social ladder, stating: “I’ve never been worried about the Bentley threat – I have always thought it brings an opportunity to grow the segment. It recognizes we have created a segment and it is flattery that Bentley and Rolls-Royce soon want to join in.
The flagship Range Rover model currently starts at $84,950, but can be spruced up all the way up to $199,495 in the top-level, long-wheelbase SVAutobiography edition . Edwards says there should be room to push north of the $250K mark after all is said and done.
That would make it a good three times the price of the base model, which might seem quite the stretch, so JLR SVO will have to pull some serious tricks out of its hat in order to justify the asking price. But we assure you that Land Rover isn’t about to let Bentley and Rolls-Royce steal away its customers without a fight.
The ultimate Range Rover will offer more personalization than ever before, with bespoke paint jobs and tailored interiors, and is likely to be available next year.
