Land Rover Dallas is proud to announce the 2018 Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque will be sporting new Ingenium gasoline engines.
The two new Ingenium gasoline engines are both 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 237hp and 286hp respectively. These new engines produced by Jaguar Land Rover will offer refined and exemplary performance, what you would expect from Jaguar Land Rover.
The new engines support Jaguar Land Rover’s commitment to improve fuel efficiency and lower vehicle emissions long-term. The Ingenium gasoline engines are produced at Jaguar Land Rover’s Engine Manufacturing Center in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.
The new engines are built out of Jaguar Land Rover’s all-aluminum intensive design to keep it lightweight and improve its efficiency. New technologies include a 2,000 bar direct injection system, an integrated exhaust manifold, and a twin-scroll turbocharger. The exhaust manifold is also integrated with the cylinder head casting which lowers emissions.
The Range Rover Evoque initially launched in 2011. Now, the 2018 model is better than ever. It is available in a five-door style or convertible. Customers have the option of choosing between 13 different exterior colors, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, wi-fi connectivity upgraded to 4G, new interior color option, and Dark Sport Textured Trim Finisher.
The Discovery Sport is Land Rover’s fastest selling vehicle, and Land Rover Dallas suspects the 2018 model will be no different. The versatility customers receive when driving a Discovery Sport is unmatched. In addition to the new engine options, customers will be able to choose between 12 exterior paint colors, new 12-way powered seat available, Adaptive Cruise control and Blind Spot Monitor, and a new interior for high output 286hp models.
